I was going to stick to novel–length books this month, but I found a novella sample in my library today that I’d quite forgotten downloading, and I was frustrated to reach the end of the selection – and in terms of recommendations, you can’t say fairer than that.
And anyway, poor novella writers, outcast from both directions, surely need all the help they can get.
So todays choice is The Independence of Carolyn Woltkowski by Benjamin X. Wretlind in which a faded casino waitress in management–imposed over–tight shorts seems to have just met one slime ball too many . . .
